my mobo say that it can support HT but i carnt find the advanced chipset option on my BIOS.



any help would be brill my mobo make is Gigabyte and the type is ga-8simlh rev 3.2

thats becuase im sure that cpu doesnt support ht

ohhhhhhh but the CPU came with the borad

yeh but if the cpu doesnt support ht then the board wont make a difference

If that CPU doesnt support HT then the setting for HT WILL NOT be displayed in the BIOS or will atleast be greyed out. That CPU from what i know doesnt support HT mate. Also try updating your BIOS.

Good luck. Also try resetting your CMOS.
