Razer Black Widow discount. Should i buy it?

Thread Starter
I just found out that the black widow has a ~20$ discount at one of the online retailers from my country, finally making a mechanical keyboard cheap enough to make me jump on the wagon. However, I haven't even touched one of these keyboards before and I'm a little reluctant about it, especially since it uses the noisier MX-blues and I only use my computer for gaming/casual internet browsing. Should I buy it or should I keep my money for something more expensive like the Meka G1?

PS: I can't try one beforehand, because there's no retailer in my town with such keyboards on sale.

that's a good start. I know plenty who like that keyboard.

It's not a bad first keyboard. Cherry blues are the stereotypical mechanical keys. Clicky and loud.

Blues are also a rather liked switch, with a few issues such as the "double tapping" issue, 99% of the time it doesn't affect me and the issue does tend to be overblown. Now onto the widow itself, I've tried a few other mechs and the widow's build quality is disappointingly lower then the rest of them, but it still feels of much higher quality then any rubber dome keyboard I've used. The widow can be had for cheap which does make up for the cheaper feel and glossy plastics imo, it should be a decent starting mech.

I don't know how common this issue is but, my black widow's left ALT gets stuck sometimes after pressing it. I think you can get a better keyboard for a little bit more money.
