Possible Idea for my new case

Thread Starter
Been wanting to build a custom case for a while i'm board with having my computer built into my desk now, want it to be portable so i can go to lan parties round a friends house.

I've come up with this so far:

Here

The bottom half with the 6 fans won't be used until i can find the money to watercool it.

As you can tell i'm very crap with sketchup.

Please let me know what you think.

Update

I've decided to use either 1mm or 2mm aluminium for the case, still not 100% if i'll build a skeleton frame then screw the sheet on or just weld the sheets together.

Looking good, If you wanted to make it a bit smaller and more portable you could replace that bottom bit and instead use something like this

At the back kind of like this

As you can see my sketch-up skills aren't great either tongue.gif . I'd Also recommend doing the skeleton frame approach as its a lot easier to remake a panel if its just screwed on rather than welded ( Have you welded aluminum before? Its a lot hardy than welding steel).

I'd suggest 2mm alu as 1 mm can feel abit flimsy at times.

Goodluck and happy modding biggrin.gif

Looks good i'm just a little concerned about air flow. I'm thinking a intake on both sides.
