CPU temp reading correct?

Hi guys. are theses temps ok for my cpu? I am not sure which reading to take as the real CPU temperature. I have an ex 240 raditor with the raystorm kit. On prime in am getting 61 C, and my vrm is getting really hot to the point where if i hold my finger for a while it burns. Heres a pic below. The other thing is that the temp jumps right away towards 60 and the raditor seem to be fairly cool, i am afraid that the heat is not being transfered to the rad efficiently?

heres my set up of my water cooling. I did the dot method, where i put the paste in the middle and allow it to spread by itself. is that a good method?

quick question, how did you apply the TIM? Did you use the pea drop method?

oh ok, I don't really see a problem with your temps. Are you overclocked at all?

not so great...cores are at the thermal limit..you may experience instability
I hope that was taken under load..
You should be getting better temps than that..i run a rasa..not as good as your block..
max today was 53c under load
PS: it was about 80F today..with 100% humidity
Try a remount..gently tightening in a crosshatch pattern..doesn't have to be super-tight
Q:where are your rad fans??

VRM's may be hot because the rear fan may be not reaching them
I had problem when I removed air from CPU, The NB was 85 deg, so I put fan pointed at it and it went down to 55
The GPU and ram make a dead air zone round the socket

Oh ok. not good, water cooling should yield better results than air.
