get 2x4gb of g skill ripjaws X, the red variant. its what i had before i went to this 990x.
also about these blacklines. not sure how the ddr3 performs but i used to have DDR2 blacklines and they sucked. they could not overclock at all.
Not too worried about overclocking it. 2133 is the most my board is advertised for without tweaking the FSB. On other sandy setups I haven't seen much difference between one timing step. Certainly not enough to merit the extra time a memory OC takes over say, installing the 280.19 driver on my 590 (voltage unlocked up to 1.05V).
Plus those Ripjaws X sticks take a lot of volts. I know it's safe, but this chip eats lots of volts even with my Corsair 1.5v ram as-is (though I already keep VCCIO at 1.1 just for good measure). Plus my rig's theme is green and black with touches of black nickel/grey with white accents.
