oh and zdude in the future please edit a single post with new information instead of making three posts in succession like that. The edit button is a picture of a pencil in the bottom left of the post next to a red flag, and if you need to quote multiple posts you can either edit them in during or after the post was made or you can use the multi button on the bottom left of the post you'd like to quote.

i apologize for my error.

Is this normal, or is it a problem with the card?

Don't fogret to register your card here at EVGA within 30 days of purchase and also upload your receipt to them in order to qaulify for warranty. wink.gif

To upload your reciept to EVGA at Upload Receipt page. They will send you an email reminding you. You can find how to do it on this page that show Instructions on how to turn it into a PDF file for upload.

Come over to the [Official] GTX 500 Series Owners Club and join up. Alancsalt a but of mine will enroll you. A great place to talk about any of the 500 series cards and get advice, opinions, and learn about them in general. Nice group of helpful people.smile.gif

Sorry to hear about your coil whine. I've been lucky to not have that issue. One good thing about an EVGA card is the superb warranty you'll have should that card fail on you. Great customer support, best in the industry IMO. I've had experience with tech support regarding an issue which turned out wasn't my GPU and they actually trouble shot my problem and solved my wake from sleep issue. biggrin.gif

Good luck. See you around OCN. thumb.gif
