I'm not set of key switches, but I'm sure about buying a new keyboard. Right now, I'm stuck between a leopold tkl or the noppoo choc mini. I am not in need of desk space nor do I need the numpad. Any advice on which has better build quality?

Leopold will have better quality and would have a more normal layout, the layout of the Choc Mini is more compressed so it depends if you don't mind the more compressed layout or not.

For sure the leopold will have better build quality. Noppoo isn't bad but its not on the level of noppoo. I have had both and say leopold for sure. Didn't really like the noppoo.
Also be aware that the Leo is not white. Its like a cream/gray type color.

Lmao I meant its not on the level of Leopold.
I wouldn't say totally another level. Its hard to explain but the Leo is on the level of a filco imo as far as weight and how solid it feels. Noppoo is a step down. Better then a junky keyboard but not a tank. Maybe someone else can give their opinion.

The only problem with with the Choc Mini is somewhat loose stabilizer on the space bar(not everyone has it and it can be fixed) and the older ones had premature keycap fading. I would get a Choc Mini over a Leopold simply because I much prefer the Costar stabilizers over the Cherry stabilizers.
