Need help guys!

Ok well here's my dillema i'm a gamer and i'm building a new rig. I mostly play CS:S and some other games. I currently have a geforce 6200 pci-e its the 64 mb with TC 256 and well it sucks. I'm out to buy a new graphic card and a new PSU (running on some cheap branded 350W). I've chosen my PSU wich will be the OCZ 700W. Now i'm up for the card and that's where i'm confused cause yes I can get an x1950 XTX BUT I wanna have the best bang for my buck + I know that DX10 are coming out soon but I still do need something NOW. So I was looking into Geforce 7950 GT, Radeon X1900XT or XTX at the limit. Now I know that there's also the geforce 7900GT or GTX but GTX is a bit too expensive IMO and My main goal is to achieve a good framerate into CS:S as my team will go CAL and im tired of getting 20 fps in firefights in 800x600 *sigh*also that 800x600 looks pretty fugly on an 19" lcd monitor and I want to run it @ 1280x1024 so im basically down with the 7950GT or x1900XT (the 512MB version) or should I get an XTX?? argh I dunno anymore!! So what do you guys think I should get??

FrakenPC is right, another alternative would be a X1900GT will run anything you need to play between now and DX10 fairly well.

OR if you just play CS:S why not get an ATI x1600XT, will save you loads of money that you can spend when DX10 comes out and it will happily play games like CS:S.

I think i've come up with a good solution wich would be the x1900xt 256 mb version wich is the best ~240$ graphic card as what toms hardware says... or perhaps the GT version i'm quite still undecided but thank you guys!
