I am a power user and plan to use the phone to it's full potential. I am thinking about going to AT&T for their Galaxy Note when it releases next month. What do you guys recommend?

Your in the Bay Area which AT&T is known for it's crappy connections. My cousin lives in Alameida & has to go outside his townhouse to use his Iphone & he has AT&T. IMHO get either Sprint Samsung Galaxy II or get a Verizon Galaxy Nexus or Droid Razr Maxx. Don't get a Iphone. Just my 2cents.gif

Is this information your spouting all over current, as in 2012, or based on your limited experience from the past?

Will, you don't have a problem with AT&T other than wanting unlimited data, correct? Because you never said you had a problem with your coverage in any of your posts. (Unless I missed something)

I've been to San Fransisco and I had no problems, personally, but this is fairly recent, not from 2008 or whatever.

Oh, and AT&T now (I believe) has LTE launched in San Fransisco. That has to be considered as well.

My information is based on my cousin's experience with AT&T which is crappy.......To have to go outside your home to use the phone is considered CRAPPY to me.....I don't have AT&T and wouldn't get it if I was a millionaire! tongue.gif
Sprint serves my needs very well with my SGII.

Hm, your cousin's experience with AT&T, what year was this? o_O

Actually, it's kind of ironic but T-Mobile gets great coverage where I live, but not inside my house. A friend of mine always has to go outside to use his phone because he gets like 1 bar or less in here.

So, that said, sometimes you just get bad luck. ^__~

edit to add: Btw, I do think he should get on Verizon personally, Galaxy Nexus FTW!

Ya, no problems other than limited data. I even think they have an LTE tower right across the street from me, so.

Do you really need unlimited data though? Wifi is all over the place, I know many others who, myself included who thought that data usage would be a issue. Turns out I don't actually use that much data as I'm on wifi all the time as it's widely available.

I'm on Sprint too, so I have unlimited. If I ever plan on switching to another provider though, I know my data usage would never be a issue.
