That depends on how you go about water cooling. If you take your time and do your home work it should be pretty simple, with minimal chance's of problems. However no matter how careful you might be, custom water cooling is a form of extreme PC building, and if done wrong or poorly could result in loss of anything in the case.

First get your rig running, If you want "water cooling" go for a Corsair H cooler for your initial build. Its very easy to install and you can focus on getting the PC running stable at stock, and still have tons of head room to play with while overclocking.

Once you have experience with building and keeping your PC going, you can make the choice to do a custom water loop:)

It can, but you have to remember that Water cooling is more efficient than an air setup and will also give you consistently lower temps.

Have a look at some of the water setups of the guys on the forum and see which way you want to go.thumb.gif

I have a corsair H setup for my cpu, and I also had a Koolance water setup for my 6990 but went with air instead when my water pump shat itself!
