I keep my OS and programs on a 1TB Caviar Black and all my files (music, movies, documents, etc) on a 1.5TB Barracuda drive. I've filled up the Barracuda to the point where there's about 200GB left. Now, a lot of times when I'm trying to play a song through iTunes, the program locks up for a few moments, there's quick an audible click coming from the case (I'm assuming the hard drive is causing it), and then normal function resumes. Also when I'm browsing for files, sometimes Windows Explorer will take a while to load all the folders up. I checked the defragmenting tool included with windows and it says the Barracuda drive has no fragmentation, so if that's to be trusted, the problem isn't because of that (trying out other programs as I type this). I'm not so worried about the drive loading slowly as the drive making a clicking sounds, if it's the source of it. Any ideas? Thanks in advanced for any input.
