if you redo your loop once a day youll never rid of those nasty air bubbles in the radiator which makes the water noise you are referring too. In simple terms, just stop it. Build your loop and be done with it. Give it time to let the air bubbles settle. Stop reapplying thermal paste. 1 blob in the middle will suffice. Build it, and leave it. Come back a week later and let us know if it still makes you mad.

Part of the problem is people have such unrealistic expectations when it comes to there first watercooling setup. Your not going to see a 30 degree diference between water and air. Just doesnt work like that. When I built my first custom loop I only saw 8 degree C difference between it and my previous nh d14.

Rasa kit isnt the greatest to begin with. The block it comes with is fantastic, but the pump blows, and the rad is mediocre at best. If your not satisfied with the performance try replacing the fans with higher rpm ones.

Go to your profile, and it says build rig or what not.

There's an option to 'Create New Rig" down the bottom of your profile page, after 'Recent Activity' and 'Photos'. wink.gif

That's not particularly true. When I bought my XSPC rasa 750 rx360 kit about 3 weeks ago just to cool the cpu til I got my 7970 I literally dropped 20-22 degrees on my max temps. At 4.5ghz I would hit 72 degrees on air with a really good air cooler and with just the 360 rad it dropped to a max of 50 though under normal use it goes down to like 35-40.

I wish I had your temps. My CPU idles aroud 30-35 and load is 55-60 no matter how many radiators I threw at it. Im guessing our ambients are different, and that my block is probably messed up. Its not fully even across the bottom of the surface, one side doesnt make as good contact frown.gif.

I sold my 240 mm radiator just now lol. So now im 120+240. Im done messing with it.

ur joking right, the RX360 is one of the best low speed rads out there, sure black ice will do better at the same size but they are designed for a faster fan,
the RX,RS,EX are some of the best rads going

True for entry level water cooling at stock, or mild to moderate OC.

At high overclocks the difference high performance water cooling and the very best air cooling is spectacular though.
At my overclocks, under full CPU + GPU load, the water cooling system keeps the CPU at 35-40º below TJmax, and the GPU's a good 70ºC below the thermal limit for a Fermi chip.
There are no air coolers made that would keep my hardware, at its current settings, out of the thermal shutoff range. wink.gif
