6850 and GTX 460 are practically equal. 550 Ti is a bit worse, don't bother with it, you'd only be saving $15 anyway.

That's ok, AA stands for Anti-Aliasing, it makes the edges of geometry less jagged.

Anti Aliasing. Aliasing = jagged edges, hence AA is undoing it. In a nutshell, it's a method of smoothing out jagged edges, sort of like a selective blur around edges of in game objects. High levels of it require alot of power from a graphics card.

if you plan on SLIin the 460's in the future a 650w will do nicely even at 1280x1024 can benefit from SLI/Crossfire. thumb.gif
