I think i'll go with the gigabyte gtx 460.
what power supply should i get?

Fair enough, they're both really nice cards.

As for a power supply, well, CF 6850s pulls 450w in furmark which is an unrealistic load. Any PSU could power your setup really but I'd suggest a quality 450-500w as it should last you a while and give you enough headroom for SLI.

That's a damn good one btw.

You could run stock GTX 580s in SLI on a good 650w PSU tongue.gif

EDIT: Also, the wattages I'm citing refer to the ENTIRE system, not just the GPUs.

It's a rebranded SeaSonic so yes, it's good. 550w is more than enough for CrossFire 6850s or SLI GTX 460s, however that PSU only has 2 PCIe 6pin connectors. The GTX 460 requires 2 so you wouldn't be able to SLI without adapters. The 6850 on the other hand only requires 1 PCIe 6 pin connector so you would be able to CrossFire safely on that PSU.

http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/314?vs=302

Scroll down to the bottom, you can see how much power these cards in SLI/CF actually pull. You'd be totally fine.
