Sig Rig (Complete and Parted Out) + Few Other Items - Page 2

No one suggested to shave 50% of the retail value (and for that matter, no one suggested to shave 100$ of a CPU and GPU), but 15-20$ isn't very reasonable either.
An iron rule sellers should adopt is that in order to make the deal attractive, you have to reduce the price in a reasonable way. 15-20$ isn't much, and believe me, people would rather save another 20$ and buy a new piece of hardware.
In addition, my prices are also based on what I have observed during the time in the OCN marketplace, and on the time it took sellers to sell them.

So totalled, not including the monitors, the hardware itself worth 1070$ + shipping.

I trust you guys but several of the ppl that have posted have pm'd me wanting to buy things so I'm not sure which of the price checks are legitimate and which are an attempt to get a lower price on an item they want....I hope you guys can understand that. haha

Hmm what prices did they offer?

I don't understand why people bother asking for appraisals when they've already decided on how much they're going to charge for the thing(s) they're selling; just seems like a waste of everyones time.

"I'm not sure which of the price checks are legitimate and which are an attempt to get a lower price on an item they want"

---i'm not gonna buy any of your items, as i'm pretty happy with my system. im just giving you my personal honest opinion. im just saying that i think it will be hard to sell those items at those price that you want to, and nobody told you to reduce the price to 50%. but if someone gonna buy any of your item at the price that you posted then thats good, i would be happy for you.

"it's barely been used and is in great condition unless I treat my things roughly and trust me I don't"
"I have never overclocked the CPU or the Video Card so both of those have seen MINIMAL work"

---every seller would say that just to sell their items, have you heard any seller that says "I DID NOT TOOK CARE OF THIS ITEM, IT'S IN BAD CONDITION, I OVERCLOCKED IT TO THE MAX TILL IT OVERHEATED" something like that? no seller would say that, whether the item is in bad condition or good the seller would just say its good.

how can we make sure that you are not selling your 1 month old system because you fried/overheated it? im not saying that you did, but there is a possibility. it's not worth the risk spending 290 dollars for a 2nd hand processor (or any item) just to save 20-30 dollars

i don't mean to offend you, i'm actually just tryin to help you out here. put yourself in a buyers place, you are wanting to buy an item that retails at 320, someone you does not even personally know is selling a 2nd hand of this item at 290, and he states that he only used this item for a couple of months.
would you buy his item or just save another 30 and buy a brand new one? what if he states that he only used it for a couple of DAYS, not months, would that make any difference to you and buy it? i don't think so, at least most of us won't.

I'll tell you how you can get more for your CPU. Overclock it and post results with proof. If it clocks well it's worth more.

Just my $.02

Agreed, im on the lookout for a decent 2600k, if i got a screenshot with the max multi or something like that i would take it without a doubt (given that its a good clocker ofc) With a good clocker you could also add another 100$ to that 2600k.

think of it as buying a shiny, brand new automobile......the moment you drive it off the lot, it loses what, 15-30% value? something insane.

there are quite a few "full systems" on sale here that were 2k+ retail and are going for 1k-1.4k. used is used, unfortunately. if you're looking to get higher prices, definitely get some OC proofs up...or consider ebay.

As CarlosSpiceyWeiner put it...just my $.02 thumb.gif
