HPCS Setup Guide (Linux and Windows) - Page 39

2 instances each cluster gets the most ppd. I'm getting 30K ppd from each account. 4core-8gb-per-instance (standard-large).
My two four core intances were running about 11k PPD (standard.large), while my two two-core instances averaged around 2k PPD (standard.small). They are all on az2.

It seems like its still the "luck of the draw" as to whether a given instance will get good numbers, but it looks like the 4p clusters are doing the best.

They did a round of invites early last wee and I was able to get one of them. I did three requests about a month ago all within an hour or two but only got the one invite. The email accounts that i did not get the invites for are duplicate addresses but just @ different places. So that might have played a role in not getting all the invites. Hopefully with this cut back in RAM they are going to be able to give out alot more invites though.

Not supprising that the 2cores are faster but I dont know if it is worth the extra time to set them up :\
