Sorry mate.
Nothing to add but im yealous you can get if for that kind of money.
Im dutch but i know some americans so could you please enlighten me how to get it for that price.
Iff ill do it threu some friends and let it ship it will still be lightyears away from the ammoubt i have to pay here for such a chip on that price.

Edit: it costs 414 euro here so thats approx 460 dollar

The deal i got was through Intel's Retail Edge Program. You have to work at a retailer that sells intel products and is approved by intel to be eligible for the program. they have summer and winter deals. The 2700k i got was the winter deal.
Im not sure the IREP would work where you live. and reselling the chips is against the IREP TOS, though that didn't stop them from flooding ebay after the deal went live.

Or Maybe not. All my stuff from Newegg is marked as out for Delivery.
The RAM was coming VIA USPS. My normal mail already came today and the ram was not among it. USPS Tracking shows that it went from Anaheim Ca, To BILLINGS MT and departed there around midnight last night.

well ive got it all put together now with some ram from my main rig standing in for USPS's delivery fail.
just waiting on my disk image to copy to a USB thumbdrive so i can install windows now......
