3700+ SD core?

Hello,

I haven't really got the time to check out which core model I have by opening my case, so I was wondering if you can see which core you have by CPU-Z?

Here's a screen of my CPU's CPU-Z specs, COULD anybody tell me what type of core (http://www.overclock.net/faqs/101138...san-diego.html) I have?

CPU-Z will tel you if it's an E4 or E6
As far as the production steppings/DOP, that is on the IHS it self and you have to remove the HSF to see it.

Use A64 TCaseMax to check which core you have, DH-E6 could mean it's a toledo core.

E6=toledo core. doesnt overclock as good as the E4 but you should get at least 2.5 =) and you can figure what the stepping is by looking on top of your cpu chip. its written on the metal cover. take off your heatsink and chek it out. write down all the numbers and post.

Likely a CCBWE since its an E6. Could be wrong if its a newer one made in later 06 and not late 05/early 06.

Wrong. E6 = newer revision with a revised memory controller that doesn't overclock quite as well as the SH-E4s. CCBWE = possibly Toledos.
