[OFFICIAL] MIONIX OWNERS CLUB - Page 13

To be honest we could go on forever about this really, little extra bits seem to keep getting added onto the warranty terms as we go along rolleyes.gif

The warranty terms Mionix quote in this forum do not stand for anything, what does matter is the warranty terms Mionix have clearly set out on their website and on the warranty card in the box, these are the warranty terms set out by Mionix for their products.
Mionix are now making adjustments to the warranty terms to suit them as and when, thats just simply not right.

If you dont understand my point or see that its valid then look at your posts, read the warranty terms you have set out here.........and then go to the Mionix website and read the warranty terms there, what you say here and what Mionix website sets out are really quite different.

Like i said previously...perhaps the time has come for Mionix to review its warranty terms and make adjustments, but then you would need to set these out in plain english for everyone to see on the Mionix website, we need to see the warranty terms in full, no use telling us half now and half later tongue.gif

Take a look at the warranty terms of other companys, there are lots that go into a bit more detail with their warranty, then customers can read these terms and if they accept them then buy the product.

I bought my Mionix mouse after i accepted the warranty terms on the Mionix website. Now that i need help im told the warranty is not as stated on the Mionix website, just wrong.

EDIT:

There are a heck of a lot of Mionix products on Ebay...do they all fail to have a warranty period as well?

Hi again!

Nothing have changed in the Mionix Warranty from when the first product was released, it's still the same warranty now as back then. Nothing here on the forum states otherwise, this is the rules of warranty and it applies to all companies out there. If you can't prove you bought a product from a certain company and that it's still covered by the warranty, you do not get a replacement product.

In your case we do not have enough information to replace the product, since we do not know the orgin of it and we have not been handed the information asked for.
Here is a picture which I feel have been manipulated and the text needed to find out the orgin have been blocked out by a white box:
http://tinypic.com/r/5txmdj/6

Today I had another RMA request of a product bought, from a private seller, on e-bay. I asked him for the original proof of purchase and he contacted the seller, got the invoice from Newegg (US reseller) and sent it to me and we have now replaced the product. But without this information it's not much we can do to help our customers out, always make sure you get the original proof of purchase when you but products from a private seller on e-bay.
We also have authosires resellers on e-bay, they use the company name, so when they sell something thier name shows up in that box and we can replace the product without further questions.

If you feel you still can provide us with the correct information to claim a replacement product, you are very welcome to e-mail us at support@mionix.net

Hi Avinin!

Unfortunately I can't release any information about upcoming products, we are about to release a few products this year and more to come the next. We will listen to the markets demands when it comes to developing new products and if the market wants laser or optical is still for us to find out, maybe we should start a poll on forums and our facebook page to see what people really want.

Please, do not do that again here.
Mionix staff should not be posting documents i submitted to Mionix support, not here.

Also maybe you should read a little about customer confidentiality/privacy.
I would just like to add that if you check here on OCN you will see that you should not :Post personally identifiable information or anything else that may jeopardize your privacy and/or safety or that of others.
But mostly, its just not professional at all.

As i previously said, its great to hear you confirm that you accept RMA requests from personal sellers on Ebay, i submitted Mionix the original proof of receipt but it was refused.
I dont know what Mionix expect me to submit? do i really need to trace back which of your suppliers supplied the product to the Ebay store i bought from? Sounds a bit over the top to me.

Great to hear that, its good news! could Mionix now please list these "Authorised resellers" on their website so all potential customers can see where they must buy their Mionix products from to maintain warranty period.

Thanks you for your answer

But please, general advice - do not intrapolate your upcoming mice's DPI again frown.gif
If you want high dpi, just use A3090 with the lastest firmware (4000dpi max, no correction) [talking about purely performances] and ofc "default" lens and DECENT LED thumb.gif

Hi!

This will be my last response regarding this errand, it's starting to look more and more like a farce, we can keep talking over e-mail if you contact support@mionix.net and see if we can come to some sort of solution.

If you can't, or won't, provide us with a valid proof of purchase the only thing I can do is look for the salesdate of when Mionix sold that product to the UK distributor, that was well over 2 years ago and the product has been taken end of life since then.
Private sellers never supply any warranty for all I know, but you can contact your seller and ask them to replace the mouse, if it's indeed a company that sold the product they will be able to help you out, our reseller in the UK replace the products for us, it's just in some cases we have to step in a replace the product ourselfs.

Like I've said before, we need a valid proof of purchase, that hasnot been manipulated, to make sure the product is still covered by warranty. In this matter I'm sure we are no different from any other manufacturer. We don't see when the product is sold from the reseller, for the customer to be able to gain the full 2 year warranty we need a proof of purchase . The only thing we can do is see when the last product of that kind was sold to the distributor, which may be years ago if the reseller is a smaller store and not shifting stock.

I'm sorry, that was not professional. However, there is no identifiable information or any information at all in that picture that is related to you, an hurt you in any way or breaking any law or forum policy. Still, I should have e-mailed it back to you, but since you have not been in contact with us via e-mail and just post here, you leave me no choise.

You do not need to trace anything, you just need to remove the white box covering up the sellers name and send us the unmanipulated proof of purchase, that's all the info we need to make a decision.

Like I said, this is the last post about this errand, feel free to contact us via support@mionix.net or our new support system and we will do what we can to help you out.
If you or ayone else have other questions, not refering to this errand, we will glady answer them best we can.

I would agree and say to contact mionix in their support email but you won't get a response! I had to use Facebook after three emails asking you to release a fixed driver software hat works with chrome. Your response on Facebook was essentially dont use chrome. Still no fixed drivers for my Naos 3200. This company's support is terrible. The products are goods but is it worth the risk? It literally took me five emails to multiple addresses suggested and 4 weeks to get a response about sales. I was considering having mionix sponsoring me but they wouldn't be able to offer me enough to represent them

Hi Phillyd!

We are sorry it took so long for you to get a response, we have had some trouble with the support. The new system is now up and running and we hope for everything to go smoother from now on.
We are starting with the Naos 5000 update, running final tests on the software as we speak and making the last changes before we can release a beta for the public to try out. Next up is Naos 3200, which should be a faster process since we have solved most things in the Naos 5000 software allready.

So whats up now?
I am looking for the naos 5000 a long time, but i did not buy any, because of the lots of negative opinions.
Are the uneven pads (bounciness), sqeaking mousewheel, or driver related problems fixed?
