Read up on Australian consumer protection laws. You can do so here and a dumbed down write up here to find the ones relevant to your case. If neither the supplier or manufacturer is willing to help you, they're in violation of consumer protection laws. Finding the specific laws they're violating and the penalties is always a good threat to get them moving.

Here's my Naos 5000 next to my Das Keyboard for the club membership.

Not srue if this is the place to be talkign about it but: the Mionix Propus 360 mousepad is amazing...in the first few days. As my first hard surface mouse pad, it gave me a horrible experience. That thing created uneven friction(probably common for most hard surface mats?) that was extremely annoying to play with. For the price, I'm definitely had buyers remorse.

Bought a Naos 3200 since my Naos 5000 is dead on me.

Even though the shape is the same but the mouse clicking and scroll don't feel as good.

hello everybody, i have had my mionix naos 5000 mouse for about a year and the only problem i've been having is a tracking problem. When i try to draw a straight line in paint i get a very shivery line and sometimes it makes some really fast z shapes. has anyone with a mionix mouse experienced this or should i take it back to the shop on warranty?

What DPI are you using?
it does it on any dpi but i have noticed now that on a razer exactmat it is much reduced
before i had only tried it on an alioth 400 and asteelseries textile mousepad, i think it may be because the laser ray is far too narrow and it might go betweeen the fibers of the textile mousepads, it also did that on the cardboard from a piece of drywall so it seems its only compatible with very few surfaces.... this makes me sad because i really liked the mionix alioth.... too bad their own mouses dont work with the mausepads:(

Try cleaning the sensor, but avoid scratching it.

I usually use some compressed air to get the dust out of the sensor (but avoid condensation too).

omg never thought of that and i had the compressed air canin a drawer all along
now it works.... such a simple solution never thought some dust on the sensor could make it that bad
thanks for the tip dems cleaned it and now it seems much mor precise
