You can have different color LED's for each of the 7 different LED's on it.

I just bought the Mionix Naos 5000.

The software isn't very impressive. I don't like the "loading wheel" that pops up everytime you change a setting and hit apply. Logitech's software is MUCH more fluid.

From my understanding that's because the naos stores settings on board but most logitech mice go through the software. It doesn't have to spend time flashing the mouse.

Wait...really :S?! I know you have the option to select which LEDs you want on/off, but I didn't know you could assign different colours to each...or at least my Naos can't do that haha.

Hi fellow Mionix owners!

I'm sorry it's been a while since out last post here, there have been alot going on with new homepage, new support portal, software and alot of new products in development.

I will try to answer some of the major questions I've seen looking through the thread and if you have more questions or are unhappy with the answers i'll make sure to be around now and then to respond.

In Australia, EU and some asian countries our retailer handle the RMA, you contact them and they will give you a replacement product. This is a working system, it keeps shipping costs down if you bought the product from an online retailer and it also goes fairly fast for our customers to get a replacement product. From time to time these retailers will refuse or be unable to replace the product, the reasons can be anything from not having the product in stock to that they don't consider the product covered by the warranty (physical damage, voided warranty due to opened product etc), and even sometimes the store is not existing anymore.

If we ask you to contact your retailer and they can't help you we can always solve that in other ways, we can replace the product directly from our distributor in the country. In this case you have to contact us again and explain why they could not help you out, or else we will have no idea that you could not get a replacement product from the retailer.

The Naos 5000 can only have the LEDs in 1 color at the time, you can chose what LEDs to be on/off, but the ones that are set to on will all be in the color you picked. You can't have the logo in green and the scrollwheel in blue etc.

The software for the Naos 5000 is under development, the beta have been out for a while and we got some good feedback from you guys. I have a new version that we will run some tests on, then update on the homepage that should solve issues like bricking sensor, macros disapearing after restarts etc.
We will keep on working with the software until the beta is good enough to be called an official version.

When we changed the support system we took care of all old errands that was active and we checked it for a couple of weeks after the switch. If there was someone that was waiting or didn't come back to us during those weeks it might have been overlooked and we kindly ask you to open a new ticket at support.mionix.net.
If you have any support questions, please open a ticket to get your answer, instead of writing it here in the forum. As I said before, we will not be checking in every day and it may take quite a while before you get the answer you are looking for.

Regards,
Mionix

Guys! I need help! Quick! I managed tip over my glass of soda and spilled it on the right side of my mice. It worked fine and I thought i managed to clean it, but I didn't. The right mouse button is stuck and it annoys the crap out of me as I can't play games dependent on the right click button (like LoL). How in the world do I disassemble the mouse? Or how to I clean it without doing so?

Thanks for all answers!! Please help me sad-smiley-002.gif

Welp, mouse started to doubleclick with one button press. I'm pretty upset as this mouse is <1 year old. Looks like I'll be shopping around for a new mouse. This is my second mouse that has developed this issue. Any advice for a mouse that will last more than 1 year?
