Not a single one seems to actually *have* the installer. Thanks for trying, though.

EDIT: Actually, a user I private messaged was kind enough to upload the software for me.

Glad that worked out. I kind a had a feeling regarding that download. smile.gif

No, but I never indicated it could or couldn't be used with or without my consent. smile.gif

Can i ask why you want 1.17? the latest Beta 1.34 has been completely rebuilt from scratch (that's what we do if we have too may bugs...but it takes an age to get right)

Got in my replacement 8200 from Amazon - the scroll wheel now works as it should without extra noise when passing a specific spot on the wheel (and the old mouse scroll wheel seemed slightly loose). The up DPI button does appear to be a design flaw for the color LEDs, as it has the same exact issue - it is darker than the other buttons and sometimes appears to be a different color than the remaining buttons. I can ignore it as long as the mouse performs well, I'll try it out in games now.

Also, the packaging again was not sealed again, not really a big deal when buying from Amazon, but some retailers will try to pass off returns as brand new.

Does the firmware upgrade do anything to make it worth upgrading? When I tried the prior mouse firmware upgrade, I noticed the side indicator buttons no longer light up upon reboot until you select a different choice.

Glad to hear your replacement works right. thumb.gif I did the firmware upgrade and had to reboot. Not sure what the difference was from 1.00 to 1.01.

Side Note: As for the NAOS 5000 there is a new beta software 1.34 and firmware version 1.21. Mionix Download page

that's the thing the software is Beta, and with others having bricked the mouse I don't want to take a chance with testing software
