[OFFICIAL] MIONIX OWNERS CLUB - Page 28

Hey guys, I just finished reading the 27 pages of this thread rolleyes.gif and am considering buying a 3200. I currently have a G500 and would like a change!

So my questions are, has the software and customer service of Mionix been improved?

Thanks!

Well.....i had to return my Naos 3200 because of a sticking thumb button but the problem doesn't exist according to the reseller, i don't know if they send it to Mionix or tried it out themselves but it's not giving me much hope at the moment. I only had the mouse for 6 months and already i ran into trouble. Reviewers on Newegg also report the same problem with the thumb buttons so i have my doubts about the quality of the mouse. I am now using my 5 year old Logitech MX518 which still works flawless, but it doesn't have the great ergonomics the Naos has, i really miss that on the Logitech.

Am I the only one still having issues with the Double Click? I've installed the newest beta firmware and software a few times and it still doesn't work for me frown.gif

Hey all, I recently purchased a Naos 5000 after my Deathadder started getting the double click after ~2 years. I thought I'd try out a different brand and style of mouse.

Thing is, I really want to like this mouse. I'm stuck on the build quality of this mouse; maybe I just got a bad one, but my left click seems a bit spongy, or mushy. And I can see this mouse getting mushier in time after use. I have also already worn fingerprints on the mouse after 2 days use. Can anyone vouch for the quality and durability of Mionix mice?

I'm giving myself until Monday to determine if I like it before ordering an M60, or another Deathadder.

I just got a naos 3200 and I am unable to change its led colors. It does not give me an option in the 3200 driver to do anything with profiles. Can I download the naos 5000 one and use that?
second question no.
3200 drivers:
As far as i can remember you can change the colors for each dpi step, but you have to use every color.
For example you can change green to the 3200 dpi step (when it was associated with 1600 before) but than the old color for 3200 becomes the new one for 1600...

I have a quick question for you guys on the Naos 5000.I love the mouse i have had zero issues with over the course of ownership.are they a way you can clear your onboard memory on the mouse where it saves your settings.I have jacked all my settings up and was going to try to start back fresh adjusting with nothing saved internally basically just like it came out of the box

Also what do you have your pointer speed set to in the settings

I'm not sure if you can entirely wipe the internals of the mouse, but what you can do is set everything back to default factory settings. That can be done through the "Reset to default" button on the Naos 5000 software. Once you do that and press apply, it should get rid of all your modified settings and replace the on-board settings on your mouse too. Hopefully that achieves something similar to what you were after tongue.gif.

On the note of pointer speed, I have mine set to 4 with the DPI at 5040 for X and Y axes.
