Can't confirm any issues mentioned before, so probably really either related to your specific rig or a flawed Avior.

Has anyone had issues with having Razer's Synapses and Mionix's drivers installed at the same time? I ask because Logitech's drivers would cause my USB ports to freakout if Synapses was installed as well.

Hi all

First post after lurking to absorb the really good info on this forum!

Got my Naos 7000 today, and have some of the same issues as others. I've got the grinding noise when scrolling up on the wheel which is annoying, as as my CM Spawn, Original Deathadder and MX510 all had really nice scroll wheels. There is also play left to right in the wheel, and it doesn't feel solid or high quality. Is this normal, or have I got a bad one?

I also thought the rubber coating would be more grippier. My palms stay really dry, and it literally slides right out of my grip when I lift (playing CS:GO @ 40cm/360) after a swipe.

Other than that the palm grip design is sublime and fits my hand like a glove. The sensor also feels really good so not all negative smile.gif

Any feedback appreciated thumb.gif

Cheers

My Naos scroll wheel has that grinding noise as well but not my Avior which uses the same components. Unfortunately it sounds pretty common in the Naos shell from what I've read. It didn't bother me enough to RMA it so I'm not sure if a replacement will fix it or not.

I don't remember there being any side wiggle (not at home to check), but the rubber "teeth" on the wheel did stick out to the side on my Naos where on my Avior they were depressed and smooth.

Thanks, it seems strange that Avior doesn't have the same issue. I'll send an email to Mionox and see what they say.

Yeah my Avior is fine. Get in touch with the guys, they're ultra-responsive.

I have just installed the drivers (v1.19) for my new AVIOR 7000 and I was a bit surprised when I realised that it comes with a toolbar for Qihoo 360 Software (AV vendor). Would have been nice if there was an option during setup to select/unselect... mad.gif

The two files are in the AVIOR7000 Software directory: safemon.dll and WordStrokeHelper32.dll.

Strange. They never got installed for me. Make sure you update the firmware to the beta version that I posted in my review thread for that mouse.

It can be uninstalled easily (simple delete the two files or do not enable the add-on in IE) but it's sneaky... I've installed the firmware update (I did read this whole thread before purchasing the mouse thumb.gif )

Thank you! I have another question for you: what you think about the new Logitech G502 (of course the question it's for anyone else also)?

It seems a good mouse but I don't want to have the same problems that I got with the Naos 8200 for it's laser sensor!
