I should be joining this tomorrow, unless my avior doesn't show up.

Hey guys, have a Mionix Avior 7000 on the way. What are your guys opinions on a decent mat to go with it?

my Avior 7000 finally came in.

The Eagle has landed. Initial thoughts?
Been playing borderlands 2 with it, I came from a taipan. Sensor wise I don't notice much of a difference between the 3310 and the adns-9800, but time will tell there. I prefer the taipan's shape as I'm more of a fingertip/palm grip and the avior is a bit too fat to do my grip style. On the other hand, yay for customizable led colors. I really like the mouse wheel compared to the taipan which in Borderlands 2 I'd constantly scroll way too far. Scroll wheel is a bit too far up for my small hands as well. Overall I'm enjoying my swap to the avior. Being a left handed gamer really sucks sometimes.

I thought that said something else until I re-read it redface.gif

But yeah, glad you're enjoying it. I also agree the Taipan has one of the best shapes/grips among ambi mice (I actually prefer it over both the Avior and FK1). The Avior definitely takes some getting used to but it really is a quality product. The clicks are probably my favorite over all the mice I've tried.

I quite liked the rubber on the taipan, I find the avior to be a bit more slippery then the taipan
