For those that have the Black Widow Ultimate: How reliable are these? - Page 2

I've owned mine for three weeks. No issues other then a slightly crooked 6 key and the backspace feels a little stiffer then it should.

I have had one for quite a while now (since Sept) and haven't had much of an issue besides once in a while when I shut my computer down the keyboard lights stay on. I just kill power to PSU to fix that.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I think I'm going to go ahead and get one. While I love the K90, not having every key mechanical does really throw it off.

For what its worth, Razer is selling the Black Widow Ultimate Stealth exclusively on their website. It has Cherry MX Brown key switches instead of Blues.

If you don't know what a Brown switch feels like it's basically a 'softer' version of Blues. There is a tactile bump but it's much softer, and the same goes for the click.

How good is the printing on the standard and the ultimate? I read on a few posts that they fade away after awhile. I can get the standard for around $26 and was thinking about getting a 2 year warranty at Best Buy if that was the case. Currently they have BF3 BWU for $100 so after gift cards I can grab it for $50+ depending if I add on the extended warranty.

If I didn't have a Das, this would have actually been my keyboard.

I just bought the Mac Ultimate from amazon for $105.

I'm wondering if I should cancel it and get the BF3 from BB instead. Does anyone know how well the mac version works with windows? It seems to have the exact same keys, just different printing. I think it looks better than the windows version, personally. The windows key looks tacky.

What does the BF3 one look like in person? I want something that looks professional, and I want Blues.

I ended up getting the BF3 version. At first I thought it'd be super cheesey but it actually looks really slick. The graphics on the keyboard is very nice. However with that said I am returning it for no other reason other than the fact I much prefer blue led's. They didnt have any regular BWU in stock when I went to Fry's but there's some in stock now.
