Difference between XSPC EX360 & HWLABS SR1 can't figure out which to buy?? - Page 2

Again, you have to ask yourself performance or noise, which is the priority? AP15s can be silent when the speed is kept around 1000rpms or they can be rather intrusive at max speed. I run my AP15s around 900rpm, most definitely silent.

well i have 33db yate loon mediums and their not bad to me at all the 37db slip streams are terrible so i figured 30db or under full speed ap15s wont bother me at all.. if i had an unlimited budget (100-200$) would you still go with the EX360?

No, just because there are better 1500rpm rads, and obviously better low speed rads. If money was no issue, I'd get an Airplex. Anyways, if you're cool with that rpm range look at the Thermochill and maybe the GTX. 1800rpm is getting into the domain of the badass GTX.

SR1 isn't a medium speed rad, but for some reason it looks that way on Bundys review. Historically it's a low speed rad that has always been edged out by the RX rad.

At 1800rpm and higher, the GTX starts to wakeup. Again, it really depends on the noise profile since even though the GTX is leading, the lead still comes down to 1c delta. It's not much. The TFC and Thermochill rads strike a good balance of all the speeds though.

Lemme say this though. People often say noise isn't a concern until they realize that it is a concern and by then they've wasted money going down big dB road. I wouldn't do a noisy setup if I had to share the same room with the offending gear.
