Hey guys,
I'm back with more questions!

So I was looking in to the Gene-Z and I am really really liking the mobo. I mean it has everything I'd want. And I personally would like a mATX mobo because I prefer the way the inside of the case would look.

But in case I ever want to SLI in the future, although the mobo is "SLI-Ready" - i've heard people saying that it is just a marketing gimmick since the two slots are so close to each other, that SLI would surely burn out the GPU on the top because the fans would not have any room to draw air in from.

Now I don't know how much truth there is to that claim. I mean Jesus you recommended the mobo, knowing that SLI will be an option so could someone shed some light on their experience with the board?

Currently I have a GTX 560 ti - MSI Twin Frozr ii. The temps on this cards are phenomenal and if I ever SLI, it will be with a second one of the same card. So keeping that in mind, do you think the Twin Frozr will be okay?

I'm also looking into the Sniper M3 which will be released soon. BUT i'm not sure whether it has a killer nic like the ATX versions of Sniper. If it doesn't then i'm not planning on paying extra money for Heatsinks that look like broken guns.

Any thoughts? Opinions? I know you guys are amazing with responses!

Go check out the Gene-Z owners thread, tons of people using SLI or Crossfire with 580s, 560Ti's, 6950s, 6970s, 7950s, etc. There's no issue unless you get triple slot cooler cards (i.e. those CUII cards or w/e).

A note though, when you SLI/Crossfire cards they gain quite a few degrees automatically and then being sandwiched together doesn't help. If you make sure you have good airflow in the case, you'll be fine.

Never looked at the M3, lol.

I actually was looking through that thread - I was lead there through your Project thread!

That machine looks pretty badass! Great Job!
