GAMING IS SO DEAD TO ME!

am debating whether to buy cs:go

xbox live running about september, no way am refilling.

Am surprised of the number of replies to this thread.

Alot of the games that are being released today just don't have that classic replayability that the old ones embodied. Alot of games now are just 1x flashy play through and then are just mehh/plain borring.

Lately i have been going back to my favorite games like Resident evil 2 for ps1 and playing them, that is my favorite game of all time! I just unlocked the secret HUNK 4th survivor scenario by beating the games A and B scenarios with a grade of A. God i love this game! tongue.gif
(HUNK , stands for Human Unit Never Killed, and is a mercenary hired by umbrella to steal the G virus who survives the zombie outbreak, he is usually always seen with a gas mask on.)

ive had this feeling and not played anything for months and just watched movies and browsed forums or youtube , then a game comes out that i forgot about and i get excited and get back into it .

but ive picked up other hobbies along the way and make time for them all and it all fits together nicely now smile.gif

I like gaming, but I'm just not into the current titles because my current rig can't handle it yet. I've been gaming for 33 years and I could never get tired of it, unless I'm dead. Besides, gaming takes my mind off the real world and family issues going on my life right now. Play games are just my escape from that. Abdidas, you're never too old for Video games and shouldn't be. It's part of our lives like family, it sticks to us like glue.

My gaming days are replaced with things like boobs, kids, studying, work, and overclocking.

There are just things that are far more important than sitting in this chair doing things that are in no way relivant to being alive.

Even though I'm PC felt like posting here.

Recently I've gotten bored of gaming as well. I just feel like making videos from games and a little fun stuff and posting them, but don't have the sweetest encoding experience. The only days I'm occupied are the weekends when ongoing animes air.
But its just weird, how we suddenly want to play a game just before our exams.

Maths exam after 3 days, and playing Max Payne 3 non stop, but after exams.. watching all the accumulated anime since a week, doing other stuff, but just NOT playing games.

In general I see gaming as maybe your favourite food, lets say its steak, but if you have steak too much you don't enjoy it as much and get tired of it, so if you want to maximize enjoyment you need to eat other things too. Same in life, you need multiple outlets....for me it's reading science fiction and fantasy, doing intense exercise, watching movies, you mix it up like a diet.

I go in spurts at times. Usually I get so excited for a specific game that anything else just doesn't cut it for a while. Either that or I don't want to start up a new game session with a game because I'll want to invest significant effort into it, which I don't have time for sometimes.

I really need to get more games that are pick up and play for just a half an hour or so.
