Absolutely! I'm 31 and have been gaming on-and-off since my Dad bought our first ColecoVision back in '84. Have been through periods of casual gaming, srs bsnss gaming, and no gaming at all.
Have been playing a lot of Trackmania Nations Forever lately, which I used to play a fair bit a while back. A quality game at its height, and still pretty decent today too. Decided to go through Morrowind and Oblivion again before doing another Skyrim playthrough. Also I got Dark Souls for the 360 at Christmas and have yet to take the wrapper off the box...now I have a monitor which I can hook my 360 up to, that might be a weekend starter
But yes, all in all I certainly do get bored of games. One thing I absolutely cannot stomach any more is the latest and greatest MMO. I played Ultima Online from the late 90's/early 2000's, then picked up WoW from its launch until a few years back. Since then I tried SW:TOR and Diablo 3, both of which lasted a couple of months at the most. I'm trying to ignore Guild Wars 2 as I know I'll get hooked for a few brutal months of hardcore gaming, then ditch it when common sense prevails...Edited by Hohum - 8/31/12 at 10:20am
