Do any of you get bored with gaming? - Page 9

Games just aren't as entertaining as they used to be. Most companies are mainly focused on MP and not doing a good job on it, which also leaves them to make a terrible SP. I used to sit and play games all day long, now I seem to get bored within minutes. When I'm bored, I always try something else or go through games until I find one that entertains me at the time.

Hell yeah. I seem to buy the high end PC parts and all the latest consoles and it ends there. Games aren't what they use to be or i'm just older and find going out funner.

+1, like everyone else, games aren't the same. So yeah, I get bored, even after passing games on hard, it becomes a chore rather than entertaining, like a new years resolution of sorts.

I wish I had enough time to game to become bored of it. 3 kids and a wife and 50 hour work weeks put a damper on my free time.

I have around thirty Xbox 360 games, a few months left on Xbox Live (I got a year), and I haven't touched it since December even while I have half a dozen unfinished games that I really quite enjoy and would like to play. The same has happened with my PS3 (ten or so games haven't played in a little under a year). It's evening happening with my PC gaming now. It's amusing because now even my girlfriend plays more than I do compared to when we first started dating (close to three years ago) when I easily outplayed her by 20+ hours a week.

I think a lot of it has to do with how busy I have gotten. I've been meaning to get back into video games this summer because I have some more time/ When you get home after work, school, do your homework, and then sit on the stationary bike for a hour the days almost over. Also if you haven't played for awhile you lose that "come-home-get-on-the-console-as-fast-as-you-can" motivational jolt and that's what keeps you coming back day after day playing and playing.

I decided to call up a buddy of mine who lives in Ohio and we're going to play some of the new Ghost Recon on the 360 so I'm hoping that, and doing some co-op Fable III with the girlfriend will get me back into it. Plus, video games are about the only time I "socialize." All of the people I used to spend time with are going to the clubs, partying on the weekends, and whatnot and I'm not into any of that. So hopefully video games will bring me back.

Gaming on the 360 anyway. Hopped back on after a few months and the shooters I have feel stale, even AC:FA which I obsessed over feels mediocre. It probably has something to do with the fact that I've been playing the old AC games are undeniably superior to 4 and 4A. And now I hear that AC:V basically doesn't have a community because the publishers dropped support for the game, and it doesn't help that featurewise it's the most alien Armored Core game thus far.

Tried a number of demos, didn't like any of them. The only one that piqued my interest was some Naruto game that I'll never buy. Spending 2 bucks, for Live, has never felt like such a waste. Feels bad man, the only thing that ever keeps me coming back these days is CS:S zombie mod.
