I have a AM3 Asus crosshair board with what I believe to be a corrupt bios chip, as it powers on but no post, beeps or any video. I have my sig rig that also has a asus board with a removable bios the same size as the bad one.

Question is with the good board on inside of windows can I take out the bios chip, replace with the bad one, flash it with the correct one, then take it out and put the original back in?

Trying to fix that board as it would save me ton off money on buying a better board to OC with. Thanks for any help in advanced.
