Here's a place to start: http://computers.toptenreviews.com/gaming-laptops/

I would probably get an Asus or Alienware then toss in two 256GB ssd's and upgrade the network card etc.

Good point there, so if you're skeptical then max out the options for hardware (This laptop has the option for SLI GTX580M) and you'll get a $5000~$7000 laptop. don't forget the chill pad. thumb.gif

Finally a good post smile.gif I wonder how the screen is though. OP could always buy dual IPS lcd's to use as extra monitors if needed too.

I don't agree with spending so much on a laptop, but I'm disappointed in the professionalism in this thread :\. Everyone knows that after a certain point, spending more money isn't going to make much of a difference. Sure, the bang-for-buck ratio goes down the drain but here at ocn the motto is the pursuit of performance.

OP is set on spending a lot for his laptop so we might as well help him

Upgrade to the Dual 6990M, and also i7-2960XM.

Throw in a few 250GB Intel 510 and a Blu-Ray drive.

Should still be around 5 grand.

I'm not going to buy extra monitors. I just need one, simple, powerful laptop. It honestly doesn't need to have ridiculous pricing. Just, powerful and mobile, allowing me to game at great frame rates, live stream at 1080p and record at 1080p.
