I was just running on OCCT to test my AMD X4 955 BE @ 3.3Ghz 1.39V and have lowered the RAM timings from 9-9-9-24 to 8-8-8-23

There were no errors after 2 hours though but there was just a little lag when I was running Mozilla simultaneously. But then I realised that the TMonitor is constantly showing the red and yellow colour. See the picture below.

No, that is not considered artifacting. Artifacting is relative to the GPU, not CPU.

I would say errors? Unstable ram will cause such problems.
