Just another quick point.........

Does anyone know why the 2410 is more money than the 2412?

also

There seems to be quite a number of these monitors with various prices and various letters before and after the 2412, does anyone know which one is actually best................and therefore the one i need??

it's pretty confusing for me. haha. From what I can tell, 2410 seems more professional oriented than 2412. I would just get the 2412 tho. The difference in experience probably doesn't make up the 100+ dollar difference in price.

The U2410 uses a higher quality panel which will give better color reproduction than the U2412 (which is still very good). As far as I know theres only 1 type of 2412 and thats the U2412M.

Is this higher quality panel worth the extra do you think, or like flexium said should i save the cash and take this years model?

Could you have a look at these for me

http://www.scan.co.uk/shop/computer-hardware/all/monitors-tvs/lcd-24

These are at slightly different prices, are they just slightly different specs apart from the 2410 of course, that's an extra 100 quid.

Thanks again guys...............you probably have better things to be doing.

Cheers

J.

In my mind(which tends to simplify things), any IPS is better than TN(of course I will double check review briefly). Other than that, I just get the cheapest ones. But I am no expert in this area.

Sorry can't really help haha. good luck.
