No, unfortunately, I'm not near a Microcenter, so that's no option. But thanks for the DVD burner help! And iCrap, I'll talk to my friend as to which case he prefers aesthetically, and then it seems that we're good to go. Thanks so much for all of your help, everyone smile.gif

check tiger direct, sometimes better deals.
unless you are ociing, dnt get the 212+
remove the second psu
cheaper motherboard, a $45 one would suffice, unless you are seriously overclocking (which with a 212+ ur not)
cheaper ram, 4gb is enough (kingston hyperx blu 2x4gb $24)
there are $16 internal dvd drives.

you could also look at cutting back a bit on the graphics card if cost is an issue. 'mild gaming' is a bit vague, but if gaming is not a big priority, that would be one of the things i would look to cut back price on.
