UBUNTU ILLUMINATED USB KEYBOARD FLICKERS?

Does anyone know where I can download a driver for the VAKOSS TK-487-UK illuminated keyboard to run on UBUNTU? Or at least how to control the USB port so that it stops flickering on and off. Thank you. Please be as detailed as possible.

The USB port works fine but the Keyboard is not recognized by UBUNTU...already read the post on youtube and script but did not work either...tried changing USB ports, rebooting, etc...this has been going on for a week...the keyboard gets its power from the USB port...

Normally I would say check the Distro's forums, but Ubuntu is honestly a useless community that refuses to help 90% of the time.

Looks like you posted it on quite a few places, http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20120128105854AAjgmgn

That would be your best answer, bad USB connection.

looks like there are no drivers, so im gonna guess its bad usb too. Just save yourself time/money time, and buy yourself a nice new simple keyboard

Thank you all but I did test the USB ports and they are ok. Have not found a driver for this keyboard. Is there a generic driver for UBUNTU for illuminated keyboards?

I tested it on another PC running windows and it works perfectly so it is not the keyboard either. It simply has to do with configuring the USB port not to flicker??

I am reading up on it at the Ubuntu site....but does anybody know a good program that can detect and correct the devices automatically?
