Asus Rampage IV Extreme Motherboard unstable at default bios settings - Page 2

We have to do the process of elimination, and memtest86+ is usually the first as RAM is always a very large culprit of freezes, crashes and blue screens.

When you say your computer is crashing, do you mean your computer is BSODing, or freezing? If your computer is BSODing, please navigate to C:/Windows/Minidump. Once there, please zip up your latest DMP files and attach them to your next post.

Hey Thanks alot man!

i have been extreemely busy and i have not been able to checkup on overclock.net in a while.

i thank you for your post.

FYI

i am not getting a BSOD it just freezes up and i am forced to shut down/restart.

also i noticed it freezes up alot when i am playing crysis 2 at the begening of the game when im at the part where you open a door and experience Cloak for the first time. Its weird! its like my GPU's are causing it too, or maybe its the sudden spike in Video Ram thats required in conjunction with my Motherboard RAM or somthing.

but i will definitely try MEMtest and continue to post status on here sometime during the 30th of March. That is when i will be back home to troubleshoot this.

Thanks again
