Is this possible?

Is it possible to use pumps from h50,70, and 100 if you cut off the tubes and use custom tubing/res? Like lets say I put the h100 pump on the cpu, with the h50 on gpu(not vram that's separately cooled) ? I already have these corsair H series pumps and was just wondering of innovating waysto use them

Why not save a bit more money and get a Rasa kit?

I meant using more then one of them as a pump in the SAME loop.

Yes, just plumb it all in series.

and it'd stack the pump speeds?

Just like any series pump setup, the head pressure from each pump in the loop would be added to the total.
It won't double your flow, but it will significantly improve it.

Those things by themselves are in the range of 1/4 GPM flow rate, so 2 in series would get you closer to 1/3 GPM, considering you will likely be using smooth walled tubing, which has significantly less flow resistance than the stuff they came with.

Sorry, misread .rolleyes.gif

But yeah, i would match the speeds, but they are from different gens so they probably don't. But just test them. Let them run water into a bucket and time how long it takes to get to a certain point. It will tell you a % difference of pump pressure if you do the math right. Good luck man, it sounds cool as hell. thumb.gif
