will read some more on ssd drives fairly new to me
plan on running win 7 pro and a couple games, and chief architect of of ssd
need to find a good reliable harddrive for storage

Ive read that ncix is connected to canada computers
their prices are not as good as newegg and a-power

i think for that price the 2700k is worth buying
20 cheaper at newegg for 2600k they dont have 2700k:thumb:
appreciate the advice also looking for a blueray burner:thumb:

Yeah, at that price difference you might as well go with the 2700K. I had 8GB of ram and I upgraded to 24GB and noticed absolutely no difference except now my usage is 25% max instead of 75% lol. As achusaysblessyou said, since ram is so cheap you might as well future proof your system to 16GB.

800W is far more power than you need. A quality 550W is sufficient to power any single GPU on the market, including the one you have chosen. Have a look at the Rosewill Capstone 550W.

Other than that, I don't think the i7 2700k is worth the extra cash over the i7 2600k, and you can do better on the SSD. I'm partial to the Crucial M4, but there are other good options as well.
