If you want to GAME across 3 monitors, you'll need 2 identical-model nV cards, running in SLI, so that you can enable 'Surround' gaming. Two monitors plug into one card, the third into the the other card.

If you're just talking about getting three screens worth of Windows desktops, then you can use a 570 + 450 just fine.

SLI 450's are around the power of a single GTX470, which is about 80% of the power of a 570, provided SLI is supported in the game you're playing ... which is 'most games', esp. any mainstream game that's been 'out' for a little while.

Basically SLI 450's are a tad underpowered for 3 monitor gaming unless a) your 3 monitors are pretty low-resolution and/or b) you don't mind lowering a lot of settings in most of the newer games ... in particular, you'll need to run little or no Anti-Aliasing.
