Corsair A70 in a CM Elite 330?

Thread Starter
I'm wanting to get my old computer running and need a cooler, and found the A70 (and A50) are both $20 AR on newegg, but I'm not sure if it will fit in my case. It says the case is 7.6 inches wide (193 mm) and the A70 is 160mm (6.3 inches) tall. Granted it the numbers show it could fit, but those don't include the back area, mobo stands, and the mobo thickness itself. So anyone know? I haven't been able to find anything about it online.

Links if needed:
A70: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181011
Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119243

And if it doesn't fit, could someone recommend a different cooler? I'm looking at spending no more than $20 since I use my sig rig for everything, other PC would be as backup/ others to use. smile.gif

Not sure, I have the Antec Kulher h2o 620 on my system. That said, I can fit it's rad onto the rear exhaust fan, but that lead to problems with VRM cooling (note that my VRM does not have heat sinks). I ended up putting the rad (with the fan blowing to the back of the case) in my unused 5 1/2 drive bays, removed and blocked the vent for the funnel, but that destroyed the lower case air flow. So now I have 2 slots open, a 120mm fan blowing int the lower case at the side in the big vent, and another 120mm fan blowing out the lower front case. So from the playing I've had to do, I'm gonna say water cooling in the case would probably be most effective if you modify the case to locate the rad outside the case. The case's flow I found just isn't up to haveing a water cooling system. But I have other factors to take into consideration too.

I figured this thread was just going to die, so I ended up buying the A70 on sale for $20 and it fits (barely biggrin.gif). I did have an h50 in it before but this computer now is just as server/going to be sold later.
