Hi I was wondering how to clean the XSPC pump/res combo? My Res seems to developing a film of cloudy residue. I was wondering if i could use vinegar or some other cleaning agent that would destroy the pump. And to make it harder the res cannot be dis-assembled which is why i have to use some kind of chemical.

Don't use alcohol, as it will cause problems with the acrylic.
I'm not sure what I'd recommend, as the chemically safe, residue free, cleaning solvent I use hasn't been manufactured for sale in the USA since 1994.
Sad times when I run out of R-11.

I have the same problem. Gonna try to just shake around some hot water in it first, then I may try vinegar, or coca cola.

WOW thnx SomebadLemonade it worked all the cloudiness is gone and my pump still works
If any1 wants to know what i used here you go:
1. Distilled Vinegar 5% acidity
2. 1 Gallon of Distilled Water
I used a 3:1 Ratio. Water:Vinegar
I then heated the solution to the point where it was hot but not boiling and you can only see fine bubbles.
I proceeded and filled the res. 1/4 full then shook the crap out of it.
I then drained the solution out. Filled it 1/4 full with PURE distilled water then shook it again. and i did this step twice.
Finally I filled the Res. up all the way and looped it on its self so it was pumping into itself and ran it for 5 min. I then drained and did it again.
If your wondering why I filled it all the way up and ran it, it was so that i can get any vinegar out of the pump.
The end result a pristine reservoir
So now ima put plugs on my Rad and Block and do the same thing
