I was looking @ this motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131767

Would there really be a difference between the two? Worth the extra $50?

I'd say CPU: AMD 960T, if you buy by today you save $15 off.

And MB : Asus Sabertooth 990FX, open box but puts it in range.

If not that one to stay under $250 or if just not liking Open Box items this mb: Biostar 990FX. really any mb at least 970 imo will fit nicely.

Difference being the amount of PCI-E lanes and how they are split. As you can see on the Gigabyte,it has two x16 and 2 x4 lanes.Good if your going Xfire on two cards as they will both run @x16 instead of x16 and x4 on the Asus board.
