DDR2 doesnt get very hot. If I can pass dual prime for over 8 hours, it's stable to me. Unless I get reboots or bsods afterwards..

So if DDR2 doesnt get too hot then its just a question of getting it stable and maximum MHz, which could be DDR2-1000MHz, by then if you increase voltages too, it must be hotter. RAM heats up with MHz too, not just volts, unlike CPU's but like GPU's. But I dont know, cos i dont have any DDR2

You haven't posted in a week so I assume you've been able to oc your ram sufficiently, but I can vouch that this G.Skill can go to 1000mhz if thats what you're looking for! I love it.

The northbridge does get hot though

Bigval, why does it seem like whenever you buy something it takes 1-2 months to get it installed? What's going on?, lol.

Because I usually get things from the states and it takes forever for things to move around and I absolutely HATE it. It took so long this time because I am dealing with lightsource and everything just took so long. For some reason, he didnt send the hard drives today so I dont know whats going on with that... I dont want to get it all together and then have to format soon after. I really just want the hdds and mobo to go in together. GRRRRR

The mobo is sent, either usps air or ground (he's not sure...), not fedex. So either 10 days or 4-6 weeks from now I will get it!

The hard drives he doesnt know when he will send so, who knows when those will get here..
