Opinions of Windows (Suggestions for improvement)

Hey guys I was wondering what you thought of Windows (whether its 7 or 8, or earlier) and in particular things you don't like. How would you do them?

Personally I dislike Windows explorer to tell you the truth. I think it could really be improved and hope they do something with it. I think it works fine but the way it shows/users find content could be improved. Don't get me wrong the search tool is powerful and can help but I think they should allow content to be shown in a way that suits the content.

For I have 2 hard drives and an SSD, this works fine for me and I keep videos, music, documents and installers on one of these hard drives. So all my music is in one location, in the folder are the the artists then the albums (iTunes sorts it out for me like that). I have all my music in iTunes and all the artwork & information on each track. I'd love it if I could see all the music in the first folder by artist or album. Features like this would be great.

Also pics, I'd love somewhere to note who's in it, where it is stuff like that. Most of these features (geo-taging etc) are available in most smart phones and are even available on Facebook but not Windows!?

Also folder size isn't available in the detailed view which is ridiculous, you can't even turn it on as an added feature!

Some of these features are simple but would speed up searching through 100's if not 1000's of things!

But enough of my ranting, what would you like to see?

I think windows 7 is fantastic, I love mine, but there is a major issue at the point of sale for new pc's at retailers like futureshop.

What the customer gets is windows 7 plus a bunch of bloatware that serves no useful purpose other than to bog down their machine.

I've cleaned several modern pc's that became slow and almost unusable due to this, it's crazy.

Also, perhaps an approved repository of software similar to the ubuntu repository or what apple does with their apps, keep it cleaner and tighter.

To many ways to mess up your windows machine, its ridiculous. Not a problem for us advanced users, but definitely something sending people to macworld.
