Almost finished, but calling it a night. I have the hose to finish running, the RAM fans to install, filling it up, checking for leaks, and getting started overclocking this little beast. smile.gif

Le computer, she's all wet! biggrin.gif Everything's working, but I'm not able to boot from my SSD. I'm going to try different SATA plugs until it boots. wink.gif

Well, alrighty then! Suppose you get your butt caught in a ham slicer! - Fire Marshall Bill devil.gif

With that said, I'm back in business with my new build! biggrin.gif Seems my SSD only likes the ASMedia SATAIII plugs. Who woulda thunk? headscratch.gif

Everything's working in tip top shape and I'm getting ready to install all of the MB goodies from the CD. smile.gif

Seems that radiator likes to store air at the top of it, so I've given my case a Detroit Lean until all of the air resettles down. wink.gif

I'm missing a case badge, so I'm on the lookout for a nice new one. ph34r-smiley.gif

If anyone has any requests, comments, questions, or anything positive to add, please do. thumb.gif
I'm going to organize my last few picture posts and call this build log finished, unless there are requests for anything else. cheers.gif

Great build !!! Looking good.

One question on the rad fans.. Can't tell the brand on the push fans, but see you have the AP15s for pull. Why didn't you put the AP15s in push and the other 3 in pull ?

Thank you very much! thumb.gif

Great catch! biggrin.gif I've ordered 3 more Bgears B Blaster 120mm fans for the pull and they're on the way. wink.gif The CFM of the Bgears are more than the AP15s. redface.gif

I also ordered one more fan grill. tongue.gif

My first MB and the standard stock cooler almost killed my Sapphire 7970. It currently flickers every few minutes and when I overclock my CPU even a little now, it gray screens or just locks up/freezes. So, I've ordered a new XFX Black Edition 7970 and an EK copper waterblock and back plate for it. Seems the VRMs produce way too much heat when overclocked for the standard stock cooler (100+) and the XSPC waterblock (95+).

It didn't help folding on it at full throttle and full OC with the stock cooler for The CC either...lol

I've got the new Bgears fans and fan grills in and will be switching the AP15s out. It's nice and cool and I can wait until the 7970, WB, & BP arrive to do it all at once. wink.gif
