hmm ok well after looking around for cheaper prices on my system ive found some parts that for only like $20 i can get and then seem much better then what i speced before

CPU:
AMD Athlon 64 3500+ AM2 $134 link

Motherboard:
DFI Infinity NF-M2 $145 link

RAM:
Corsair 1gb Value Select DDR2 $200 link

Video Card:
Im still not sure either
Gecube ATI Radeon X1600(PRO) 256Mb $200 link
or
Sapphire SAPX1600PRO-256 $180 link
or
GIGABYTE NX76G256D-RH GEF7600GS $170 link

all up about $650 depending on video card i think this will be much better then the previously speced system but with my noobish knowledge, who knows

Looking good.

Did you see this:
GIGABYTE NX76T256D-RH GEF7600GT, 256MB, DDRIII, PCIEx16, DUAL-LINK DVI, SILENT-PIPE II $228.00

If yuo somehow can fit that in your budget (if need be, save $15 on the CPU by getting the 3200+), it's beat any card you picked.... Not sure when that sale ends... you might want to pick it up quickly.

hmmm im not hugely into games like ill have a play of gw or fifa 06 but i dont really play game like battlefield2 so do you think that getting the worse cpu would be a bad tradeoff? also, is that dfi board better then then asus? lol

Ok, in that case, your picks should be fine, and get the 3500+.

Not sure. DFI generally makes really good AMD boards, so I assume this one is good also.
