So I got new fans for my Rosewill Challenger Need fan advice.

Ok I am wondering this. I got new fans for my Challenger & I am wondering whats the best orientation for air flow. The case has 3 fans already installed which I am going to take out and replace those 3 with the 3 new ones.

x1 new Front, x1 new top, x1 new rear. Then use x1 of the stock rosewill fans on the door panel. the case only has placement for 4 fans total. Right now the way the case is setup. All fans are blowing air OUT & I am not using the side panel at all.

new fans I got off an OCN user :)

Ok thanks. Now time to rewrite the entire case. I hate the cable management in the Challenger. Its challenging :)

I'd put the Scythe 120's front and back. Presuming you are controlling the speed somehow (cuz 1900rpm is a little nuts), set the back at about 800-850rpm, front intake at 850-1k depending on temps (maybe higher to compensate for that hdd bay in the way). Keep the top fan pretty low; you just want it to help hot air out of the top without disrupting airflow to your Frio. The Slipstreams push good air at 800-1k while keeping noise minimal. Mount your hdd in front of the fan's center hub. Ditch the stock fan and see how your temps are leaving the side vents passive, then maybe try placing it at the lowest vent and see if it makes a difference. just imo.

I have those 120's. Nice fans.
