1,200 gaming PC budget, this is what I have so far. Good or bad? - Page 6

Well to recap, from your first post, the DVD drive, mouse from Amazon, mousepad, keyboard, screen come up to ~$264 without shipping (by the way, do you have a copy of Windows?).
The CPU/motherboard combo at Microcenter would be ~$280-340 depending on what motherboard you pick, so lets use the high end of that $340.
You can get 8GB of 1600MHz memory for about $45 or a bit less if you shop around.
$90 for the same HDD you used.
You can get a good case for about $50.
A Rosewill Green 530W will happily power any single GPU with a 2500K. $55.

That leaves you ~$356 to play around with for video card options and shipping, although shipping should be less since you will get some of the stuff at Microcenter. But for ~$300 you can get a much nicer video card than the 550Ti you originally had planned thumb.gif

Thank you, this helps me kind of get my mind to stay on track, and organizes some things for me, so it helps a lot! I am definitely going to check out this Microcenter stuff, it seems it will be a valuable asset for me, and save me quite a bit of money. <3 xoxo

Also I forgot to answer your question if I was going to get something later, I think you asked if I was going to get a better graphics card or something! I might in the future, not 100% sure though.

Edit : Also forgot to answer, no I don't have a copy of windows, but my friends said they can get me one (I have no idea how they plan on doing that lmao)

q_q lol

I can dive, but no car / insurance. Not to mention I am stupidly paranoid, I would literally have to become super friends with th3m3rc before I could go near him without shaking like a leaf. Not saying we couldn't be super friends (let's be the wonder twins, I call dibs on animal shifting, you can be the water bucket <3)

Its about 2-3 hours depending on how fast you drive........Um for everything except the hard drive I'm looking for $650

420

It has all this and a 2500k and I took the shroud and fan off the cooler and attached three 35CFM 80mm fans for better cooling
It also has ALOT of case fans including a stock 212 Plus fan, The Stock Antec fan that came with the cooler, and two 110CFM skythe fans that are on the coolers radiator. Also the stock NZXT case fan and a 50ish CFM 80mm fan mounted to expansion slots on the back of the case for intake biggrin.gif

If he is interested I will post LOTS of pics

Don't drive super fast! Don't want you to wreck ):

Anyway, as much as I would love to be like ''ok sell me it'' I really can't, mainly because of my lack of knowledge on the stuff, and the funds coming from my mother (I promise I am not a 100% loser at life, just 50% or so lmao q_q) and she is ''OMG***BBQHAX'' about all of this. I just told her about the Microstore and she was like ''what is that? Just order it all from Newegg since I know it's a reliable place.'' I have to learn all this stuff so I can explain it to her so she can trust me in knowing what I am doing. I do hope you find a buyer for your stuff though!

Bahaha she wouldn't let me build my own pizza (that is a large exaggeration.) Uh, I am 22 (inb4 laughs are had) but I have never really looked into actually building a computer. I just recently learned that you save money if you build it over buying retail, and let me tell you that in itself was a feat to convince my mother that I should build the computer. To be honest I told her ''just use whatever money you want for whatever I will be fine with my current computer'' but she keeps pushing that I just get a new one, but in doing so she is making this a very tedious process.

Oh mothers!
